Originally constructed for a one night event at the Madison Public Library Main Branch in Madison Wisconsin, Skulking Dragon is an all paper dragon skeleton with a 30 foot wing span. The piece is constructed of over 180 individual parts cnc milled from Eagle Cell hexcell paperboard. The entire structure weighs less than 30 lbs. The event ran for one night in 2012 to celebrate the library before its temporary closing and renovation. The piece was designed as a site-specific installation for basement attic space overlooking a dance floor and party venue at the event.
